All it takes to ruin a newsgroup is one vandal, most especially when no one
will stand up and defend the group. However, that appears to be changing
somewhat as a few others have decided to speak up about the recent outrages.
It may be that ARBR can recover. Let us hope so as it was not really such a
bad group. Most of us here are elderly men and it is passing strange when
some few (Monkey Islanders) act like unruly teenagers and spoil it for all.

It should be noted that there was never a peep out of Philbert when the war
was raging as far as I can recall. Maybe if others would contribute more
instead of constantly taking the group would not fall on such hard times.

Leuck is not as bad as I have made him out to be as he has recently acquired
some backbone and is willing and able to take on a certain vandal criminal
troll. No, that is not me. I am a good troll and enhance the group. I do not
destroy it. I wonder if the day will ever come when this group is able to
make some distinctions among trolls.

Mazzoleni, like me, was another good troll. We were well mannered and stayed
on the appropriate threads. We did not use sock puppets and forge other's
names to our posts. We were open and above board and responsive to what
others were saying. We were not vandals and did not destroy threads for no
reason. Most importantly, unlike a certain vandal criminal troll, we do not
go about destroying newsgroups for the fun of it.

I think I am going to write a little essay about trolls and their proper
place on a newsgroup. Everybody stay tuned.

What I would like to know is when are you going to learn HOW to post. No one

That you can be instructing pupils in how to use the computer is a case of
the blind leading the blind. You are taking wages under false pretenses and
if you had an honest bone in your body you would resign your position and
take a job more suited to your talents, such as guiding jerks and nerds on
cycling tours of Europe - which is a fine way to waste time. You will do no
harm doing that and will have found your true vocation in life - spinning
your legs in circles combating European traffic and not ever having to put
your brain into gear.

In the meantime, enjoy your miserable existence there in miserable

What a shame, it's been a couple of years since I visited this group,
to see what it has become. This used to be a place where you could
learn about cycling and recumbent's, now it appears that it has
morphed into a halfway house for psychotic trolls..
