  1. Hi

I'm wondering does anyone know a good way to remove the leftover sticky bits of handlebar tape that gets left behind when u remove the tape. I don't want to damage the finish on the bars so does anyone know what i can use and not use ?

    Thanks in advance

+1 on the eucalyptus oil. I used it to remove heavy duty frame tape from one of my bikes. Tried all sorts of so called gunk removers but in the end my wife put me onto the eucalyptus oil. Came off so easily I wish I had started with it and saved me much time and cursing and swearing.

  4. Great thanks very much for the quick replies, assume i can get it in a chemist or maybe even a supermarket ?

  5. I get in both, just make sure it is 100%. 😉

  6. Great thanks very much for your help.

  7. You could try degreaser on a rag also. I use loctite degreaser at work for removing old sticky tape stuck to just about everything. Works like a charm.
