The Rivendell Bicycle Works do a range of the (excellent) Nitto quill stems and handlebars - not the
cheapest or the quickest option, but highly satisfactory.

Campagnolo bar end levers go back to 1951, so you don't have to feel too bad about it.

Frankly, although I suspect I'm preaching to the choir here, the "Luddite" accusations hurled by the
rabid neophiles are faintly absurd. I'm sure we are perfectly keen on new kit that improves on the
old kit - I imagine we all have LED taillights, for example. It's just that doesn't oblige us to
shell for wheels rendered weak through excessive dish, expensive narrow chains, unmaintainable
brifters, indexed front shifting you can't trim...
