Even if a physician doesn't want you using their FAX line, there is no
way they should simply ignore your input, especially if your symptoms
are obviously abnormal.
I haven't done it myself, but I know a nurse who has done so on
several occasions and is quite vociferous about it.
I didn't know the process was such a pain. However, my mother-in-law
died last year, partly because her physician intimidated her out of
asking questions. My wife wrote a letter to the state medical board
(NM) hoping she might prevent the same doctor from doing the same
thing to someone else. I wonder if we'll be getting a visit soon...
