I would except that would be only the beginning of a "She said, he said"
hopeless exchange, and there would be an examiner who would come to my house,
and affidavits and likely a hearing. Just not worth it. It isn't worthwhile
sending a letter if you don't plan on following up (or just don't have the
    energy)..

I've been through things like this before, and they rapidly snowball out of
    control.

Sounds to me like this warrants a letter to the state medical board.

Even if a physician doesn't want you using their FAX line, there is no
way they should simply ignore your input, especially if your symptoms
    are obviously abnormal.

I haven't done it myself, but I know a nurse who has done so on
several occasions and is quite vociferous about it.

I didn't know the process was such a pain. However, my mother-in-law
died last year, partly because her physician intimidated her out of
asking questions. My wife wrote a letter to the state medical board
(NM) hoping she might prevent the same doctor from doing the same
thing to someone else. I wonder if we'll be getting a visit soon...

  2. It may not be as bad as I described - who knows? Since they haven't yet
contacted you, are you feeling ignored?

I just don't want to find out right now.

Good luck and let me know if they contact you.

I know several years back we had some problems with a moving company, and it
ended up with a public hearing at which my wife had to testify about the moving
company. Fortunately, we were not the only ones complaining. However, even
though the company was found at fault, we never got any money back or personal
resolution, so, the net effect was zero, from our viewpoint.
