Looking at 2 stands and wonder if anyone has had a chance to use them and
has opinions. Watch for wrap.

Looking at using them mostly with traditional round tube frames, and one
Garry FisherY frame. While I know they should be used on the seat post,
there are the odd times you want to hold the frame. Any chance of either of
them working on the Y frame?
Also I intend to use it pretty much at home- basement or outdoors. Thinking
that the ultimate tripod would be nice for outdoor uneven surfaces, but you
may be tripping over the legs, and I'm not sure how the legs would like mud
from washing bikes on it. For the park I know the head and sliding support
post slide out of the base, so i'm tempted to hammer a post in the back yard
and slide the unit over it when I want to wash the bike or work outside.
TIA for the input
