Looking at using them mostly with traditional round tube
frames, and one Garry FisherY frame. While I know they
should be used on the seat post, there are the odd times
you want to hold the frame. Any chance of either
of
Quoted message said:them working on the Y frame?
Also I intend to use it pretty much at home- basement or
outdoors.
Thinking

surfaces, but
you

legs would like
mud

and sliding
support

post in the back
yard

work outside.
TIA for the input

I had the Ultimate BRS-70B for a couple of years until my
wife misjudged the length of the tripod legs while pulling
her car into the gargage... I have since bought the Ultimate
Pro (one step up from the Ultimate BRS-70B). When shopping
for a new stand I looked at both the Park that you are
looking at above and the Ultimate. In my opinion either of
the Ultimate's will be better than the Park. Yes, I was in
the store mounting bikes onto both of the stands looking at
stability. In my opinion the Ultimates are better stands.
The Ultimates also fold up for better transportation...
(great for 24 Hours of Moab ect...). I bought my
Ultimate Pro from Performance for $160.00 US on sale.
The Pro is natually a little nicer than the Consumer,
both will do the job.
You may want to check out www.mtbr.com for a review. No
matter what bike stand you buy none of them hold up well to
a wife with a car...
