    I've got the SRAM PC-1090 chain and am in need of the Powerlock
    connector. Cannot find any source for this. Can anyone tell me where to
    purchase this?

    didja lose it? comes with the chain..don't think the connector by
    itself is available but the 6mm Wipperman link, a reuseable one, unlike
    the Sram one, is...and will work just fine with the Sram chain.

    Hmmm, seems like it is available but $15!!!..Wipperman is
    less and reuseable.

    I thought I read that many people were using 9-speed connectors with 10-spd
    chains?

    I re-use THESE regularly:

    Bill "Big S road chains* (quieter) with Less Big S (SRAM) connectors" S.

    *granted, 9-speed, not 10-.

    WE did until the Wipperman 10s links came along..then no need to use
    the Sram gold link
