  1. Hello all!

Does anyone know how compatible SRAM Force and Rival are with Shimano? Their
website doesnt appear to give a clear answer (from what I found anyway).

Can a SRAM cassette or chain be used with Shimano 10 speed equipment?

Both my 04 OCR and 08 Madone came standard with a SRAM cassete.
They've been making road cassetes and chains before they launched any
groupsets - they'd have to work with something.

Cyclingnews.com has reported that teams have found SRAM groups to work
better with Shimano chains than with SRAM. We've found this to be the case
as well. Aside from that, there are no issues with using SRAM cassettes on
Shimano drivetrains or vice versa. Or mixing & matching brakes.

Yes the cassettes are the same spacing and format. SRAM cassette on
Shimano hub is quite a popular setup.

Does the 10 speed SRAM cassette come with the freehub spacer ring as does
    the Shimano?

Freehub spacer for a seven cassette on an 8/9 hub? No.
    Lockring? Yes.

What about SRAM 10sp chain on Campagnolo 10sp group? I can't find any
clear answer, but everything tells me it should work.
