Just dawned on me that I've never heard of a Petacchi, Zabel, Cipollini,
Hushovd, Cookie, O'Grady, or even a Quaranta testing positive for
    anything. Why not?

    Gord does
    McCook did
    Jonas used not-performance enhancing drugs
Fuentes (not a real racer) doped
i can name a few others who have bent the rules

Gord Fraser has never returned a positive test, either. Don't know about
the others on your list since they're not in the trap-friis.dk database.

    Danilo Hondo
Stefan Steinweg (busted for bringing steroids and HGH
into Australia, but not for a positive test)
Various trackies and clowns at the AIS (who all got off in
the end, which must have been an accident since some
of them appear to have actually been innocent)

How could anybody not name Marty Nothstein. Supposedly failed multiple
tests, and had more roid rage than every other sprinter combined.

Allan Davis has never tested positive for anything, but he was in the
Operacion Puerto Tour list. However, now it seems that the Operacion
Puerto report submitted to the TdF by the Spanish authorities was an
unsigned Guardia Civil draft document, not the official report. It
turns out Allan Davis is one of the several Liberty riders whose name
is not mentioned in this final report, yet another proof that sprinters
    don't dope.

By the way, Manolo Saiz has sued the Spanish Head of Sports because of
this. Astana was out of the TdF because of the contents of such draft,
on which all press leaks were also based (it should be obvious now who
was the source of all those leaks).

You are pathetic. You say you want Floyd to come clean and name names.
And yet, behind your veil of anonymity, you cast dispersions on three
racers, two of whom have never tested positive, and say you can name
    others.

Here's a suggestion: Man up and come out of your momma's basement and
name names. You say you know so much, well... do something productive
besides just stirring things up here.

    Do it, [censored]. Do it.

I dare you. Otherwise, STFU, you spineless, ball-less [censored].

Marty's on the road with Navigators now, so potentially fair game.

  14. Why no mention of Freddy Maertens?

Well yes, but where would you insert his name in the lineup "Petacchi,
Zabel, Cipollini, Hushovd, Cookie, O'Grady, or even a Quaranta."

Forget trackies vs roadies; the original question was about riders
who actually got popped, not about riders that some random person
on usenet says "supposedly failed multiple tests."

If we're going to count bad tempers and bouts of rage as evidence,
then loads of trackies might qualify.

Please, somebody explain ASO's business plan to me; I'm begging.

    Hey Douchenozzle,
Unlike some people, I understand what you were attempting to say. It
was a pretty stupid thing to say. Everybody knows I raced clean
including you. It doesn't matter how you worded it. You are an idiot
for associating me with a list of people you think are doping. Thanks a
lot pal...you're really making a difference.

OK, let me rephrase this. Is there a good reason why the greatest GC
contenders of our time all seem to suffer from suspicions of doping, but
the greatest sprinters don't? I could make the trite guess that if you
have to consistently get your heart-rate up to 185+, you don't want to
be taking doping products that could cause heart failure..
