Can anyone suggest a sport would help add strength to the torso and
back? I'm asking because I have some time on my hands and want to take
up a new pastime. Thanks in advance.

This troll has special control over his gastrointestinal system. The rest
of us work our abs, he works his upper and lower intestines. -

Yup. The grappling is a good idea. I can get really tired during a
grappling workout. There's nothing like working against an equally
strong person's resistance with every move you're trying to make.- bc

Kinda like a situp, but a much smaller movement.
I haven't played our organ in 5 or 6 years now, so I'll run downstairs
and see if it's hypertrohpy'ed yet. -

Pilates is good for core strength. So is squatting. So is swimming if
you pay attention to form.Dally

I tried pilates today. It was actually fairly gruelling. I'm doing
squats but still working on my form. I'd definitely consider wrestling
once I get my strength up because I'm interested in taking up some kind
of martial art. I have a gym membership and there are plenty of classes
there, but I don't have access to a pool. In terms of time, probably 1
or 2 nights a week. But you've already given me plenty of ideas,
thanks.Matt

spammage trappage: remove the underscores to replyI'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

Matt, you are taking advise from a fat middle aged housewife. She knows
[censored]. If you are trying to build muscle, swimming and pilates won;t help
you. Stick to your plan - HST is what you need. -

Butt how can you say she knows s**t? I thought she was a elite
triathlete?Yes Bill. She is an outstanding athlete as we all know. In fact legend has
it that she has beaten a whole contingent of geriatric cardio patients (that
was the race under protest as she is accused of actually tripping the 93
year old leader of that aged group as they were neck and neck near the
finish) The judges actually commented as to how remarkable it was that
anyone so physially repulsive and with a rear end that needed an entire
harbour to berth, could have done so well. -

least that's the story I'm preparing for her new faux website,
complete with whale butt pics. See that way people can look at those
and get an idea what the real thing looks like, without being blinded.
I mean I got a claymore on the wall I can use to look at her
reflection in (thanks for the tip Harry Hamelin) but non-scots are
pretty much screwed. -

for wimps. My advice is to stick to the really 'gruelling' activities like
pilates, swimming and yoga. (goddamn wimps what are they doing in mfw??)
