spoke calculation: can anyone confirm?

Those numbers look plausible off the top of my head, as I would use 294
and 292mm spokes for that kind of build. I don't normally use Open Pro
rims, though, as I seem to be able to get perfectly serviceable
alternatives for a lot less. Standard nipples are 12mm, but it is fairly
easy to get different sizes (not much under though), and having a
selection available sometimes saves the day when you don't have exactly
the right spoke length to hand.

I have a slightly improved version of that spreadsheet. A bit easier to
use with the database tidied a bit. E-mail if you like a copy. I sent
it to Rinard and I think he kept it, but probably didnt use it.
