I'm rather hoping that Larrington Towers can be rented to creulous
Leftpondians for the duration while I lie on a sunkissed beach with my
Imaginary Friend feeding me cold beer and bacon sandwiches...

I rather suspect that you will end up with a real friend but imaginary
    beach, beer etc...

Better get some rides in along the Lea Valley towpath while it is still
    there.
    Springfield Marina cafe. Bacon sandwiches.

It would appear apparent, to me at least, that dinosaurs were largely
    burrowing creatures.

As it said on the news, Blair has to greet Chirac at the G8. On this one
occasion I'll forgive him his smugness.

I'm an admitted Johnny-come-lately to the London Olympic bid. What changed
my mind is one Jacques Chirac. When he tried to deflect his failure in the
French referendum on the EU constitution by making out all that is wrong in
Europe is the fault of the Brits, and then his appalling comments just the
other day... I too admit this is the single occasion I'll forgive BLiar
smugness ;-) I do, however, offer genuine commiserations to the French and
    Parisians in particular.

    Cheers, helen s

Shirely you can sell that slogan/idea to Danish coastal communities for
some authentic miss-the-Olympics not sporting action...

    Provided:

o the weather does not decide to be Unutterably Vile, and
o Darth Ben supplies the new front light I ordered longer ago than I care to
    think,

    then yes.

The start being scarely any further from Larrington Towers than the Olympic
    Wossname is quite handy,,,

Odd, is it not, how all roads lead inexorably to David Icke?

  20. The start finish line for one of the cycle races was displayed in Regents Park while the IOC delegates were in town. Quite inspirational. And is that right about Springfield Marina cafe - thought that was on the wrong side of the river to be affected.
