Yes. The inherent advantage is that it looks nifty, which
causes increased sales. As we speak, this inherent advantage
is working on me (but alas, like trying to scoop 2 gallons
of ice cream out of a gallon pail, it is not working on my
wallet). Specialized is said to be very excited about this
advantage.

Would like to know what "curvecious" means,

What extra "joins"? It's just another bike with curved tubes
instead of straight. Nothing new or amazing.

Somehow the "t" went missing. So it meant to read, inherent
problems with the joints. The joints between the carbon top
and TI/aluminum bottom.

Yeah, even though it borrows a couple of hints from the
stylish cruiser genre, it mostly maintains the overall
gimpy and graceless appearance common to most road
racing bikes. (For what it's worth, they look even
gimpier and more graceless when topped with a lycra-clad
geek holding his butt up in the air like some sort of
estrus-stricken animal.)

No worries, though; there are plenty of nice-looking bikes
being manufactured currently, like these examples:
