  1. i just bought my son a road bike and i am trying to find out info on the bike.what year it was made and so on.it has the words specialized sirrus, direct drive cro-mo and triple on the frame.sakae 52 on the front sprocket.suntour edge on the rear derailer and woobler on the rims.any help anyone.

  4. Judging by the Wolbers and the Suntour Edge derailleur, I would guess it is a late 80s early 90s model. See link below:

    The specialized site probably won't help any considering the fact that i think its definitely a pre millenium bike.

    The purpose of providing the site link was so he could contact them to get definitive info, e.g. if the bike has a serial number, I'll bet they could tell him exactly when it was made.
