specialized road bike id help needed

Judging by the Wolbers and the Suntour Edge derailleur, I would guess it is a late 80s early 90s model. See link below:

The specialized site probably won't help any considering the fact that i think its definitely a pre millenium bike.

The purpose of providing the site link was so he could contact them to get definitive info, e.g. if the bike has a serial number, I'll bet they could tell him exactly when it was made.
