I've had this "problem" with every brand, make and model of clipless
pedal I've owned all the way back to the original look "brick" models up
to the C.B. EggBeaters I use now. It's not the pedal, but the
cleat/pedal interface that's clicking (to determine this, smear a little
grease on the cleat where ot's held by the pedal).
