  1. Hello,

I need to locate a solicitor who is prepared to consider that

    (Paraphrasing [very] slightly)
"I saw the pedestrian crossing the road in front of my
    car and I moved off."

may not be a reasonable thing to do and is prepared to
    challange such statements in court.

How can I find such a person?

I am now rather short of time, but probably still OK.

My present solicitor thinks that the above action is perfectly
    natural and is not challengable.

    Thanks.

I don't see the cycling content in this question. Perhaps try at

So do I. Cars should give way to bikes and bikes should give way to
pedestrians. Instead of making big urban highways we should be making
wide avenues with pavements on the outside, cyclepaths in the midle
lane, and trams running up and down the centre.

    So there.

I'd say it's an entirely fair question to ask on here, since many have had
dealings with solicitors as a result of motor vehicle/non motor vehicle
incidents, and as a result are more likely to know those who won't just lie
on their backs and have their tummies tickled.

    cheers,
    clive

It would be worth telling us whereabouts you are.

One would have to take your paraphrase in context. For example, I look many
hundreds of yards ahead, and might see many people crossing in front of me,
    yet still safely move off.

I presume that as you're challenging the paraphrase then a collision might
    have occurred?

Oh yes, that's a good idea. Sorry.
