  1. Unfortunately for cylcing fans, everything points to Floyd Landis :

    1. Landis has gone AWOL

2.. "According to sources in France, the rider concerned is said to
have tested positive for testosterone after last Thursday’s stage
    through the Alps to Morzine"

    3. "“I will say that I am extremely angry and feel very let down by
this,” McQuaid said. “The credibility of the sport is at stake. "

Clearly it's not Leppy, Moncoutier or Halgand, we're talking about
here is it..The fact that the UCI chose to disclose this news is most
    likely to prepare the opinion.

So the only question that remains is what was he on ?

My vote goes to good old "stimulants" aka "speed" and he thought he
would be ok because he drank TONS of water to clear them out as it
normally does (2+ liters in theory), looks like Chatenay-Malabry was
one step ahead this time, eh :

  2. So when is the rider in question going to be revealed?

When the B-sample has also been found to be positive.

Looks like I may have been right on two counts after all:
    "recovery products only" Tour.

    My pre-Tour prediction:
    1. Ullrich
    2. Basso
    3. Landis

  8. Considering the number of tests Floyd must have taken during the tour,
why on earth would he decide to take Testosterone (or similar product)?
It's old school for starters, and simply doesn't have an instananeous
effect - neither does EPO - and cannot explain his Satge 17
performance. I've come to accept that any GC guy in the Tour is a
doper, but I'm skeptical of this result.

  10. I'm hearing people say that cortisone could give a higher testosterone
    level. Is that completely off-base?

Is it possible that the stress put on the body could result in
naturally occurring, but unusual level of
Testosterone/Epitestosterone?" I would hate to think that Landis
    wasn't clean.....

Instead of trying to clean up the Tour, they should let any participant
drug themselves however they want - at least they'd all be on a level
    playing field.

I don't think Landis took anything illegal - but that's me, I like to
    believe the best.

i knew it would be landis. That 'miracle' recovery after his bad day- i
mean, geez, did anyone think it was just because he ate his pasta? If
you're going to dope at least be discreet. My guess was blood doping or
a hypoxic tent or something. But it was just TOO obvious- no one, i
don't care who, recovers that fast and tat well from a crash like he
had. Even armstrong, the day after he dehydrated in that time trial,
looked like death and wasn't back to normal. I can't believe no one else
thought Floyds miracle recovery wasn't just a TAD suspicious.

It was testosterone, which does not have immediate effects.

    Guess so.

I thought you might decipher this phrase from the first paragraph even
if you don't speak it, "una sostanza stimolante."

    Oh well, its irrelevant now.
