Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, yuppy flu, the non-existant, bullshitter's
disease, the excuse used by lazy people everywhere as to why they don't
work, exercise, have a life. For many years all reputable medicos
denied that there was such a thing, but now a few just accept that the
patient is determined to have an excuse for terminal laziness and just
go along with it. Those that claim to have it are usually so lazy that
their metabolism has almost ceased functioning, so they lay around and
sleep all day. A few weeks in a boot camp will cure any of them, I have
    seen it happen.

Look closely at anyone claiming to have CFS and examine all other
aspects of their lives and claims. They blame everything and everyone
around them for any and all problems they have, they whine and [censored]
about everything, they NEVER accept that the problem is themselves and
    their laziness.

Yes Pat, indeed it is chronic fatigue syndrome and I would not wish it
on anybody. Contrary to Carolynne's misguided description of the
illness, most people who contract it were in fact, very high achievers
and successful in their careers and jobs before the onset of the CFS.

If you would like to learn more about it from knowledgable people who
have studied, researched and treated thousands of people who suffer
from it, I will paste a couple of urls that you might find
    interesting.

Actually, one of the reasons I decided to adopt Atkins was because I
read that some people with CFS had found some improvement whilst on
    the diet. 🙂

Garbage. They were people who FAILED in career or education and were

These sites give full support to my opinion, they have "forms" for self
diagnosis, and are basically a support group for other malingerers who
have jumped onto the CFS bandwagon. The mainstream medical profession
does not give credence to CFS, though many have stopped arguing against
    it, they just ignore it.

Those medicos who do support a patient's belief in CFS being a
legitimate disease use a rather ludicrous - as detailed on these sites
that you provided - system whereby they test for any other "real"
disease that might be causing genuine medical problems, then if nothing
else shows up, confirm a diagnosis of CFS. This is a joke, "if nothing
is really medically wrong with you, I will call it CFS."

Ah, the home of the great, malingering, whining Ricky Buchanan, one of
the greatest BS artists of all time. You should read his letter, it is
laughable. He has no diagnosed disease aside from extreme laziness and
a leaning toward hypochondria. Look into his past, at various times he
has claimed to have almost every hard to diagnose disease known to
mankind. He has settled on CFS as it has so many other supporters that
    it "almost" has legitimacy.

Well Atkins is another kook doctor who ignored all mainstream medical
research and who although very capable of conning many thousands of
people into damaging themselves with his idiotic ketosis, never managed
to control his own weight. He was always fat, and he died huge, yet the

liver and kidneys, those fat fools looking for the "easy way" flocked
to him. I guess that if ever any group of people was advocating an
"easy" life, it would those hiding behind the pretense of a fake
    disease like CFS.

I have a long, direct, personal contact with many people claiming to be
CFS sufferers, they were too tired to work, attend school or college or
sit exams, but come the weekend and they could party, dance, water-ski,
do whatever. Yeah, I really, really, believe that they are sick. the

    Welcome to my kill file.

If you could "contract" this non-existent disease, then medical
researchers would be able to isolate it. They haven't, and they can't,
because, like ADD etc., it DOESN'T EXIST.

They should call it the "Losers Disease". Have you noticed that no well
known, successful person has ever had it? It isn't even known in third
world countries. Why not, if it is a real disease? Why do all those
people who claim to have it, also have a history of hypochondria and
personal failure? Why does it never strike a successful person whilst
in the middle of their success? Some successful people suddenly claim
to have have it, AFTER having failed, but not while they are actually
    achieving.

It is [censored], almost all who lay claim to it are self diagnosed and those
who do have a doctor prepared to support their delusion, will find that
if they switch to a reputable doctor, they will be told that there is
nothing wrong with them, to pull up their socks and get on with life.

As for your kill file, I imagine that it echos your life, a determined
refusal to face what you know to be the truth.

Carolynne Rogers is definitely a troll of long-standing. Based on what
I saw in Google, she is also known as "Betty Martini" aka "Mad Betty" (I
think that last one was a nickname coined by annoyed newsgroup
participants). Clearly stirring up [censored] is her preferred pasttime --
she and JC are probably married.

Thanks. I definitely thought so, because nobody can be that angry over
something that doesn't affect them in any way. And then to go on a support
group and "show her behind" as my grandmother would have said, is sad,
because it says more about her than it does about anyone else. I'll add her

ADD does exist - except it is called ADHD. I have it . I take medication
