  1. With all the news about Rafael Palmerio and steriods, i have a question
for anyone. Are proteins really safe and are they considered somewhat
of a steroid? It seems like any supplement can be considered a steroid
nowdays. I recently have been taking this protein called APS Pro
Complex after my workout. I am wonder if this thing will cause
detriment to my body down the road. It seems more confusing what is a
supplement and what is steroid. Any thoughts people? Thanks.

    Yes, no!

No. Some organizations ban certain supplements/substances, such as
ephedra, high levels of caffeine, etc. These are not steroids.

Supplements are naturally occurring. Steroids are not.

    You need to chill..

That's the stupidest thing I've heard you say in a long time, Jeff.

    You do have testicles, correct?

  9. By definition "steroids" are hormones and very strong substances
acting on many body organs while protein is merely refined food.

Some people may be allergic to certain protein sources
such as whey which is a cheese/milk by-product or
algea-based sources. Allergic people will get mild to strong
indigestion. Since you havent seen this so far, you
    probably are not allergic.

Once in a rare while supplement manufacturers have been
sloppy in their factory with unhealthy results. For example,
the amino acid tryptophan problems some years back:
    http://www.chwframe.staywellsolutionsonline.com/modules/HealthLib/Tryptophan.asp
Food supplements arent required testing for safety or effectiveness
like drugs, so arent banned until problems arise. Drug testing doesnt
always work either, as seen in recent news.

All protein drinks are anabolic steroids, and are therefore toxic.
Protein drinks today are many times stronger than the protein drinks
people experimented with in the 60s, and they cause irreversable brain
damage. Steak and other meats also contain protein, and therefore are
also toxic. In addiction to shrinking the genitals, causing baldness
and killing babies, protein drinks, acting alone, shot President John
    F. Kennedy over 41 years ago.

    Yes.

Human testosterone is neither an anabolic steroid or a supplement.

Human testosterone isn't an anabolic steroid?!?!?

If you eat meat, you eat steroids every single day.

Doesn't mean that injected dianabol is "safe".

Ironically, that's exactly why Brink is banned from
    international competition.

Pretty much all protein drinks contain protein isolates, which have
simply been extracted from sources that you could access during a
normal diet anyway (milk, soy, egg), so as long as you're not spiking
the drink with something, you're fine.

However, I think the real point is...Palmiero is lying. These guys
don't get caught and admit anything. They get caught and spew out a
pile of prevarications. The offense of breaking the rules
notwithstanding, he's just a piece of garbage who isn't able to stand
up like a man and face the music.

Brinks knows all about testicles and slinking away.
