  1. Just got back from Torridon after bagging a few Munroes.
The little snow there that's their is melting quicker that my ice cream in
the kitchen, What a waste of time that was, spending a week searching for
    decent snow and ice.
    Cheers

But will it hang around long enough to form quality neve in the gullies?
    probably not!
It has been a very poor season for those of us who enjoy the Scottish hills
    in winter.

Yet it's been colder than usual here in South Wales. But still not cold
enough for the frozen waterfalls I was hoping for.

You can say that again. The past few years have all been poor. In the
past three years I have used my crampons for all of ten minutes. :-(

  6. Heading to the Ling Hut in Torridon this coming weekend. Liathach is the
plan. Should be fun but hard work after a two month lay off.
