Just got back from Torridon after bagging a few Munroes.
The little snow there that's their is melting quicker that my ice cream in
the kitchen, What a waste of time that was, spending a week searching for
decent snow and ice.

probably not!
It has been a very poor season for those of us who enjoy the Scottish hills

past three years I have used my crampons for all of ten minutes. :-(--
Phil Cook looking north over the park to the "Westminster Gasworks" -
Heading to the Ling Hut in Torridon this coming weekend. Liathach is the
plan. Should be fun but hard work after a two month lay off.--
