I've never seen them Costco or Sams, but they're pretty
common in the supermarkets, depending on WHERE YOU LIVE. I
can tell you that HEB carries them, but that probably won't
do you any good.

Now that I think of it, wouldn't that be something you'd
find in a German butcher shop, like Karl Ehmers? do you have
something like that nearby?

Now that I think of it, wouldn't that be something you'd
find in a German butcher shop, like Karl Ehmers? do you
have something like that nearby?

shops as well.

My local Safeway carries them. They're in the same area as
the hams. Vons and Ralphs ought to carry them as well.

Vons always has them here. North of Fresno Safeway has them.

actually, you would be much better off buying a camerons
stovetop smoker, and smoking them yourslef.

I recently got one of these on ebay and it was only like 40
some dollars.

works great, and has wonderful choices of chips for smoking.
