Slough-Watford Route

A lot of routes but mostly quite intricate, so easy to
get lost! If you have time the easiest way is take the
Slough arm of the GU canal to the main canal near
Uxbridge, then northwards to Hunton Bridge near
Leavesden. If you want to discuss other options email me

it's been fine, very little traffic and nice wide roads.

Will be Tuesday morning, probably leaving Ascot around
07:30, so I'll catch most, if not all, of the rush hour.

close to Leavesden. What's the towpath like, is it tarmac?

Not tarmac unfortunately, and varies, but all rideable. It
would take at least 1.5 hours from Slough to Hunton Bridge.
Depends how you feel about traffic, as all the roads will be
very busy at that time.
