This feels like a bit of a stupid question, but I suppose it's better
out than in...
I rode to/from work y/day in heavy rain. I had on a decent waterproof
(the name has escaped me for now, but I've read good things about them
here in the past) with a little hoody thing underneath. My legs were
dry as I had Paclite trousers on, but my socks and trainers were
soaked.
I konw it's possible to get something to put over my feet - neoprene
or some such thing - but should I have got soaked on top? I think the
rain actually went down my neck. There's no hood on my waterproof.
What's the best way to get round it? Get a w/proof with a hood? If
not, how do you keep the rain from pouring down your neck?
It was *really* horrible putting those wet clothes on 8 hours later to
ride home again...
<fx: shiver>
