I always try to help the poor, and before you ask I'm not doubling up on a lay with Italy for the wooden spoon, simply because Scotland might get it. Well, at least you'll have something stir the porage with. That's OK because I stuck $1000 on the patriots to win the Super Bowl last night at 4/5 , got a $800 profit on that. Now what's this new fangled thing called working all about. I'll give you 500-1 about England getting the wooden spoon, if this is the case then you stand to win £2500 for your fiver. So for your tenner in total you stand to win a lot of money towards getting out of that bloody endownment mortgage. Lim will give better advice on that. He's the bean counter. Sorry Lim, gotta go with the Welsh. One of the 3 World powerhouses (Historicaly NZ SA and Wales) is on the way back, they are small mobile and cheat very well (self proclaimed by the welsh). I see France as their biggest threat followed by Ireland. Of course if you Northern Nancies played an 8 nation with NZ SA and Aus wou would all be fighting for 4th 😉

Wilkinson is average, all he has ever been. Sure he can kick, similiar to our Grant Fox in his play, but fox played 20 years ago and I thought he was average too.

i would like to see Scotland win but it must go England or France surely, i would like to see Wales or Ireland come in winners also, there is too much friendly rivalry between the English and Scots rugby teams so i hope England come last, (infront of Italy and France of course)..

I's say that perhaps we'd be fighting for 3rd place - SA were terrible in the autumn internationals here in Europe. NZ and Australia are the benchmark (used to be NZ-only as the benchmark).
I like Welsh rugby - I always have and I think it's great that they're on the way up. But I don't think they've arrived yet. I think this might be Irelands only chance of winning a grand slam - team is getting older and they have got some momentum. Although, the game against Italy showed how easily it can go wrong.

Of course I'll take it, but a bit nearer the time before the next round of games. I never do ante post other than an overround book. I thought that a grand slam was something different. Now for the six nations championship outright winner Ireland are 7/2. As for Ireland v Gaby Logan/ MP the cards are face down on the deck.

I was fortunate enough to be at Landsdowne Road yesterday to see Ireland beat England 19-13. It was a great specatacle - two nervous teams out there.
Ireland's try was very good. I thought some of the referreing decisions were strange (for both sides). How did it look on TV ?
The Wales France match was superb - on Saturday, wasn't it ? France were superb in the first half - then Wales came back and did even better. Scotland got their result against Italy.
I just hope Ireland can hold out against France in two weeks time - and then on to the Millenium for a showdown with Wales.
