Single speed question

would cost.

Rear sprocket $5 (See if LBS will give you some free
spacers) Chain tensioner (if needed) $20-50

Don't listen to the crappy ragazines. All they want to do is
sell advertising space. Why else would anyone give a good
review to santa crud, crapandflail and all of the other cookie-
cutter [censored] whilst mostly ignoring well made bicycles?

Actually I take what these mags say with a grain of salt
too. However, this particular article was factual, which is
what I filter when I read them...

Here's my current set-up with a Rennen "Rollenlager": sitting-sitting-Open ↗
duck.home.comcast.net/1sp2.jpg Very beefy, as it bolts
solidly at the axle, and the dropout. NO chainslap. I
machined some custom spacers out of aluminum tubing for my
cassette, the chainline is within (assuming the frame is
perfect) a tenth of a millimeter! <G

You can convert that 820 for next to nothing....and love it.
