Where the hell does he come up with this line?

So you cannot win without doping?

No, if you have two riders of equal ability the non USA rider will not be able to beat the rider from the USA.

He talks about everyone doping, names a bunch of Euros, and then states only USA riders are doing it? What an ass clown.

Hold your horses there compadre!
A slight glitch in the translation. It's supposed to say the non USER wont be able to beat a user if they have equal abilities.

Now after all we know he sounds credible.... in 2004 we wouldn't have believed him would we... ?

"throughout the 1990’s we all took the same thing, EPO. The effect was paradoxical:
In reality it made little difference. It all came back to who was the strongest. Pantani won because he was a phenomenon. Whatever he gained through dopage so did his rivals. Now there is a new twist, a small rider can suddenly become big! By using the best Doctor, he can get incredible results. I think about Gutierrez, second in the Giro. I know him quite well, we were in the same team for a while. At no time would I ever have said he was a good climber. Yet in the last Giro he was on the wheel of Basso. A miracle!".

No it's seems correct. Maybe, he would say :US riders have better "doctors" than europeans.

Original text: Ma senza doping si può vincere?
«No. Tra due corridori di buon livello, quello che non usa doping non può battere quello che lo usa».

OK, "the one who doesn't use doping"... nothing about USA rider. Shame on the Daily Peloton.

He's slightly less of an ass clown than I earlier intimated.

7. I can confirm, 'usa' here is the verb 'to use'. Nothing about Americans doping more/less than others. 🙂

Why do you say he's an assclown? Because he had the courage to take a stand and tell it like it is despite Armstrongs best efforts to keep him quiet? And even after what cycling has gone through with Operation Puerto, basically prooving Simeoni's case that cycling is rotten to the core, people still treat him with contempt. Could it be that people just don't want to know the truth?

They changed the article......small mistake! Can happen.....

So you cannot win without doping?
"No, if you have two riders of equal ability the one who does not use dope will not be able to beat the rider that uses."

Well written. He's an assclown for some people here because he spoke out about drugs in cycling.

Funny enough, it was his run in with Armstrong that started me thinking that armstrong had something to hide

11. I think this is a safe thread to take on Armstrong.

Most of his supporter won´t came in here without a cross and holy water!🙂

He spoke out about drugs in cycling after he already got busted for using them himself so he'd get a lighter penalty and then he plays the poor whistle blower that got picked on by big bad Lance and tries to make himself look repentant. He's a whiner.

Also - anyone who EVER walked across the finish line for a stage victory is an ass clown.

Oh right. So Lancelot was annoyed that he got a light sentence. Thats why he bullied him. Thanks for explaining that.

Look's like you have a typo in your LA pic, unless he is whining about the lack of sporting competition Gilberto provided him at the TdFs. 😉

no, the reason he did that was because simeoni had a lible suit against lance. when someoni spilled the beans on ferrari lance publicly called him a liar, so simeoni filed a lible suit.

19. i do agree that the team should bear some responsibility!

Simeoni had claimed Ferrari prescribed PEDs. Isn't that why he called him a liar.
