The kit doesn't have any instructions, but its simple enough.
Magnet goes on crank. Use the left crank to avoid the chain.
The sensor attaches to the stay using the rubber ring, the same way the
front one was attached.

You had me confused there. The first sensor is on the fork. This second
one, for cadence, is on the bottom stay.
