  1. i have a sidi greta i think i am wearing size 8. i find the shoe is a bit loose in the front. when i cycle uphill it is most obvious. i can feel my front feet moving up and down in vacuum. i have used this shoe for 3 years. i don't remember how it feels 3 years ago 🙂. so is this a shoe design error or maybe it's too old to change. it looks good outside no tear or scars 😄.

    Cao,

  2. I would think it's a little late to be thinking about returning the shoe. There are likely new models by now. I don't know of any shop that would accept a return after this amount of time.

I'm wondering how it took you this long to notice it didn't fit?

It is important to take time during fitting to make sure you have a good fit.

I like to buy a shoe very slightly large, because I'm a long-distance rider and feet swell over a long day. It's also wise to have a good fit in the heel and width, but a roomy toe box. The foot should not slide forward.

I agree! a 3 year old shoe would be about due for replacement anyway.

  4. could it just be that over 3 years the shoe has just stretched?

Of course they have, they are old and have been used for 3 years.

If the shoes are leather, then it may have stretched ... but, if they are only three years old, then they were probably made with whatever synthetic "leather" material SIDI uses, now, so the amount of stretch has probably been minimal.

You may just need to replace the shoe's liner.
