No can do, although google earth has that level of detail, the google
maps program won't zoom that far down on my little middle of nowhere.

He's taking the longer route in the summer. I'm guessing it's cold
enough in the winter to justify not taking the scenic route/smelling the

They don't plough the MUP along the river. Come snowfall and I abandon the
MUP. Sometimes in winter I'll parallel the river route on York Rd but that
is even busier than College east of the Univ.

Even though the winding nature of the MUP makes that route a little longer
I prefer the river because it's less busy, more pleasant to tool along the
green space. As well being in the lee of the river's foliage gives wind
shelter. College sometimes has some strong winds - always headwinds somehow.
Plus College Ave has two mean hills - not particularly long or steep but
arduous for some reason.

As I said the MUP isn't ploughed in winter. As well the smaller residential
streets I zig-zag down to the river are a lower priority for ploughing as
well. The larger arteries get done first.

I'm liking this pedoMap thing. Though take note the map is only moderately
accurate.
