Had the day off yesterday and some business to take care
of. So I hop on the 3 speed and off into the streets I go. 1st stop ATM
machine. Next post office to send off these Brook saddles that I traded
for Sram X Generation front derailleur, Sram PC 58 chain,Sram 5.0
cassette, and a Selle Stratos saddle. Those Brooks (2) were too plush for
me. And now I get going faster no spring Brook saddles to bonce around
on. More power to the pedals and fast. Well speed kills and thats what
happened to that old type set up seat post. Hitting every bump the seat
took a dive pot hole city that New London is. The bracket that goes over
the seat post got twisted up and the seat too a dive to the left. So I
stopped and got off to take a look and the saddle came off in my hands.
So out came the hammer, adjustable wrench, and other tools and held
hammered the backet into shape. The saddle back on the post I pedaded
the 2 miles home. After the mailman notified al that I ride all over and
can fix it.

The only way a government official would hand the deed for my house to a
developer would be to pry it from my bloody, dead hands. What the hell has
happened to this country?? -

It is absolutely horrible. I'd read about the case a couple of weeks ago
and thought for sure the Supreme Court would actually come through with
justice for the homeowners. I guess that thought came during a temporary
lack of cynicism on my part. What was I thinking? An individual winning
against an corporation these days?Greg

An individual winning against an corporation these days?Note which justices voted which way. Rather bizarre.

Did the conservatives opine for or against?
"The city has carefully formulated an economic development that it
believes will provide appreciable benefits to the community, including
-- but by no means limited to -- new jobs and increased tax revenue,"
Justice John Paul Stevens wrote for the majority. He was joined by Justice Anthony Kennedy, David H. Souter, Ruth Bader
Ginsburg and Stephen G. Breyer.--

What they said was their leaving it up to each and every
state if they want to take land and home. But the just don't really take
it they offer you market value. And you say no way Jose. Then they
take and your out of luck Anyone in this USA could be next. -
NO I'm a apartment living soul. No house no car that
mean no tax. The taxes I do wage and sales. Thats allso why I never end
up on jury duty. You have to live here to see what really happen to
that area. They did it to another area of th city a few long blocks from
this the one their talking and working on now. That was about 15 years
ago.
