Oh there's plenty of place for that sort, don't worry, Cadel needs to stick his nose out in front to be respected. To be fair Moreau also flicked his arm at Valverde and he didn't come through either. I think they may have been a little upset by his incessant attacking (which is what I love about him).

Looks like the aussies lost three riders today. Two to crashes, and one lost his balls--or maybe never had any to begin with.I can just imagine what Moreau had to say to him. "Hey, Evans, why don't you pull up your skirt and do a turn on the front."

The only reason Moreau kept attacking is because nobody would help..... Valverde did a little work... especially at the end to get the 8 seconds bonus ! Dreadful.... is there no respect in cycling anymore ?
Right you are Evans will need someone's help at one point in this race and he won't get it...... from memory Evans sat on Moreau's wheel in the DL for second place..... it is shameful riding....

I think I only saw him once come up to the front and that was after the climb had ended and they'd reached the flat part! Bit cheeky for him to try and sprint at the end as well haha.

Evans lacks confidence (and yes, maybe even a couple of sherical, dangling appendages) but yeah I gotta say that was a pretty lame move by Valverde.

I did note that ! Moreau rode the final 4km on the front for Valverde to attack.... Mayo had the right to attack as he had done to counter Moreau initial attack.... Mayo also worked on the front.... but Valverde was a shocker..... along with Evans...... Moreau doesn't hold back with his words so I'm looking forward to him giving them a spray.........

Actually he did to Valverde while they were still on the climb, some choice French expressions no doubt.

What if they're all too scared to go too strongly up the climb in case the media and the public get suspicious? :P

No way--we already know that they are all wildly blood doped.Besides---Moreau, age 36 has tremendous blood doping in his system evidenced by his most assertive riding ever---in his career, at the Dauphine and on today's stage.
It was not quite enough to drop the whole group after countless accerlerations---but he did drop Valverde---and only by waiting (pausing) did Valverde get back on and take out the run in for 3rd place.
Meanwhile Erik Zabel has called for doping confession amnesity. Smart plea.
And Eddy Mazzoleni (Vino's teammate) is NOT cooporating with CONI doping investigations---nor the Lombardia gym steroids case (Operation Athena)

Besides Moreau and to a lesser point Iban Mayo, the favorites acted like a buch of weenies.

So long as you know the definitions.
weenie = blood doping not working as well as the more assertive riders
1999 to 2005 only Phamrstrong was a man. Everyone else was a weenie---including Alex Zulle, Raimundas Rumsas, Dario Frigo, Gilberti Simoni, Joseppi Beloki, Tyler Hamilton, Floyd Landis, Jan Ulrich and Ivan Basso.

...and Cadel Evans sucked wheels all day and should have his weenie chopped off.

Wheel suckers win grand tours in the cow-blood doping era.
Pharmstrong spent very little time with his nose in the wind or setting pace---whilst the fans held their noses

If rememeber correctly then Evans worked with Landis in one of the mountain stages last year. Maybe he likes to suck Landis' [censored] instead of Moreau's [censored].

Disappointed with Evans and his tactic today : really annoying to see that type of wheelsucking going on : he did nothing (as far as I could see) and refused to take a turn at the front.
Talented rider, no doubt.
But his tactics today were awful. -

But his tactics today were awful.Agreed. There is no honor in riding like that.... he might as well dope and win.

He was NOT dropped. Why is that a poor tactic? He said he was at his limit, unless he lied.
