  1. Hi all,
I'm currently running in ASICS Gel Evolution; however I'm thinking
about buying a pair with less support to rotate with. I am currently
considering a pair of GT2100 or DS TRAINER. Any recommendations?

    TIA

    D.

The best frikin' shoe on the market today! Realbitchi, Freesepop, and
Bendaho say so, so it must be true.

The Evolution suggests you significantly pronate. Depending on your
degree of pronation the GT2100 this may work for you. The DS really
lacks support although it may work for a short race. What are you
    trying to achieve?

  4. I do, indeed, significantly pronate. I find it hard to train in the
Evolution when I do shorter speed work. However, I am also looking for
a shoe that I can also race in. I'm training for 10-15km races. How
does the GT2100 compare to the Kayano?

All I can tell from the web page
http://www.asicsamerica.com/category.asp is that the Kayano is heavier
12.6 vs. 12.0 for the 2100. I can see the difference in words but not
what the hell they are trying to justify for the extra $45 (for full
retail). From the few that I know that use(afford <g>😉 them they feel
they feel they are a work horse. Money aside the Kayano and the
Evolution may be interchangeable for your longer stuff unless you really
do need a stricter motion control shoe. As for the GT vs. K for racing,
the GT is lighter and may feel faster.

The DS trainer would be a better choice if just for racing AND it
    doesn't mess you up.

  6. The only recommendation I can think of, is in the future, try to keep
    these trivial thought to yourself.

    GT2100 is rather not bad!
