Shoe covers for 49 wide shoes?

I once got a pair of Adidas neoprene shoe covers that were (way) too big
for me, my size is 45 and I suspect those were good for 49 (they also
stretched a bit).

I wear Diadora size 50 Geko road and MTB and I use shoe covers from
Giordana. Both thick neoprene ones, and thin wind-tex ones. Size
7/XXXL. They are snug particularly on the MTB's, but they work and they
aren't so stretched that they are going to fall apart immediately.

Here in the United States, a size 49 shoe would be about 3 feet (1
metre) long. I momentarily imagined someone with three-foot-long feet
trying to ride a bicycle. 😉

A true 49 would have width in proportion, and not simply be stretched.
