I use Krusher pads, because they are comfortable, as well as cover your
entire leg all the way around.

They protect very well against pinned platform pedals, I tested them.

I use 661 4x4s and theyre great...they breathe good and are nice and
comfy..You should be able to get em at your lbs.

i have the 661 race shin/knee guards and i think its really protective
in the front of the leg.
This week i bought the 661 4x4 pads and i dont think its protect from
hard hits. But its really comfy and its breath

i have the 661 4x4

and picado i would say they protect the hard hits but only if they are
frontal. From the back the pedals can get in.

Although from the front i've done a few big drops and missed and my
metal pedals got stopped with only a bruise on my leg with my 4x4's.

I think 4x4's are great cause thye are cheap and even if you dont think
u'll need knee protection its good. I fell a few times on my new on
concrete and damn that would have hurt without them.

Also they are quite comfy. If you are like me and not used to riding
with anything you'll find them horrible at first but u really get used
to it.

I have the model of 661 4X4's that are just before the brand new ones.
They do not breath as well as the brand new ones but are stiffer in the
front. My friend has the brand new ones and they fit better onto your
leg, breath better, but do not protect as well. But the new ones still
have great protection.

thanks dude for sticking up for me, but i'm fine when he does it, well
and when most ppl do it, what i hate is when ppl correct me and make a
big deal over my grammer and mistakes, plus he's like a brother to me,
so i'm use to him doing it
