If you like the gear indicator and cadence they're neat. If those things don't
matter to you, they're not worth the money.
I never would have bought one, but one came with my bike. Now I'm appreciating
the gear indicator, and not having wires running all over the bike (mine's
wireless). However, there *are* wires running under the bar tape to the
shifters, which makes it fiddling with their position a pain. So if you do get
a Flight Deck, make sure your shifters are exactly where you want them before
wiring everything up.

I really love it. Love the gear indicators and how you can use the same
computer on up to 5 bikes.
I use on my road and tandem. lots of useful information.

Well, basicly its just another, ordinary, inexpensive computer with a
littel bit odd menu's (2 levels - I don't like that).
But the gear indcators and the cadence functions is great!

i found having access to the mode and select buttons on the shifters to be
more useful than any other single feature of the flight deck/ergobrain.

I've found it doesn't matter -- if I can afford to pay attention to my
computer at all, I can afford to move my hand to press a button.

well, i would put barrelling down descents at 45+ mph firmly into that
category. i really don't like to move my hands then. like to see the
conmputer, tho.
