  1. Can a Shimano Nexus hub dynamo be built into a Brompton wheel? I know a SON can, but as I have a
Nexus lying around I'd rather use that.

Can you get a rim with 36 holes? The brompton ones have 28. (This is what stopped me when I was
    thinking identical thoughts).

    cheers, clive

both hubs are 100 mm wide, and won't fit the 70 mm dropout spacing, so you'll need a difefrent fork.
The Bromson is still under devellopment

The existing forks can be widened; Kinetics do this, other bike shops might.

It seems to have been for a long time now.

S'not necessarily true - you can spread the fork. (and a most worrying process it is too, but it
doesn't affect the folding when you've done it. Man at kinetics told me what to do and it was all
fine. Don't forget to bend the dropouts straight, and I also had to make them a bit wider as the SON
axle is a little bigger than the brompton one. ).

    cheers, clive

Does this mean you're having problems with bottle dynamoes ?
