I currently have a shimano dura ace BB-7410 older style bottom bracket. I've noticed the chain line is slightly off and perhaps that's what causing my front derailleur to have the chain fall off inside. Also, on the lowest gear (smallest front gear, largest back gear), there's a very slight clicking noise from the cranks.
It's not the derailleur rubbing because I took the derailleur off and it still does it.
Anyone know if I replace the 7410 with a 7701 if I can keep my cranks? Also, I noticed sheldonbrown.combbsize.htmlOpen ↗ says the length difference is 109.5 vs 103 and the square/splined are different. Finally, I'm not sure what's the difference between the listed "chainline" and "length" numbers mean in terms of compatibility, etc? Could someone explain?

There is no compatibility at all between the square taper and splined cranks/bottom brackets. The 7410 is the shortest Shimano bottom bracket with a 103mm spindle. If you want something shorter, Phil Wood is probably your only hope - I purchased a 96mm BB from them a few years back in order to use a mid-1990s XTR crankset on a touring bike. If you want a longer BB, try a 107mm UN-72, which is the next longer length Shimano square taper bottom bracket.

No-One is a splined pattern design(7701) whereas the 7410 is a square taper...Are you sure you have a shimano specific, 103mm BB spindle length BB? I'm thinking you may have a 113mm spindle, the wrong one for a 7410 crank.
