Whats the point of sharing Zwift training breakthroughs if everyones just going to cherry-pick the data that supports their preconceived notions about training and ignore the rest? Are we really just a community of self-congratulatory, data-obsessed, pseudo-scientists who cant see the forest for the trees? Do we actually think that sharing our Zwift breakthroughs is going to revolutionize the way we train, or are we just looking for validation and a pat on the back from our fellow cyclists?
If were being honest with ourselves, isnt it just a bunch of anecdotal evidence and confirmation bias masquerading as science? And whats the endgame here? Are we trying to create some sort of Zwift training canon that everyone has to follow, or can we actually have a nuanced discussion about the limitations and potential pitfalls of relying too heavily on virtual training data?
