Concur there. Even if exonerated, his career is over. As seen by UCI's denying Phonak a license citing their questionning of the new tests rather than staying a decision pending the Hamilton and Perez decisions, UCI has made it clear it does not take kindly to anyone questioning their authority. UCI feels if Tyler was innocent, he should have fessed up like a man and taken a suspension like the other cheats.

It's a billion to one that he's innocent (the odds of him being false
positived AND his roomate being false positived AND no one else being
false positived).

What do you do? Nothing. He's not getting the electric chair for
godssake - he's getting a 2 year UCI ban. Most of us have a de-facto
lifetime ban from the UCI due to a lack of talent, commitment, or both.

Don't you mean "and NO ONE ELSE" testing positive at all. For some reason
that doesn't seem to have impacted anyone.

It was announced to the riders during the TDF that this test would be initiated in the Olympics. That short interval likely would preclude anyone who was using homologous transfusions at the TDF from having their blood clean by the time of the Olympics, although someone who might have transfused slightly earlier might misjudge the interval time needed subsequent the transfusion, especially since it is not apparent what percent foreign blood the lab would select for a positive test conclusion.

What do want, procedural due process from the Czars at UCI?

The UCI/WADA contention is the test reliably catches cheaters not innocents, therefore it would NEVER come to that. When the authority has such a slam dunk of a piece of evidence, innocents should not make waves like Vasseur did as it undermines the credibility of UCI. After all, Vasseur served about half his suspension anyway, so what’s one more year if it helps keep UCI’s clean house front? How are they going to scare cyclist into compliance if their tests are shown flawed?

Tyler was innocent until they were told that
they didn't know how to read the results.
