What's it like to be alive but not living? To sense but not to feel? To
    age but not to experience?

Splatter your credo all over the place, Doug. It leaves a nasty stain but
it don't affect the way things works. As Mr T would say, 'I pity you,
    fool.'

What a cute homily - damn near brought tears to my eyes. Did a real doc
suggest a sensitivity seminar to go with your meds?

Frankly, I sincerely doubt that anything ever has or ever will. Your loss.

Yunno Doug, given than there are probably quite a few folk on this board
currently on 'meds' - as you so quaintly put it - for depression, ADD/ADHD
and other psychosomatic illnesses, it ill-behoves you to belittle their
plight by condescendingly referring to everyone with who you have a
disagreement as requiring some form of medication. If god has been kind
enough to permit you to pass through this life without 'meds' then you
should have the good grace to count your blessings, as I do.

I should note that this isn't the first time that your apparently genial
nature has rapidly presented a less attractive aspect. D'ya think that no
one notices? Or is it that, as you slink into the final years of a life
characterised by self indulgence, hypocrisy and an over-confidence in your
failing intellect, that you really don't care?

    Whatever, you suck.

Sorry Rog I don't over use this but your behavior is definitely
indicative of someone likely bipolar who often feels compelled to vent
your down side on r.r. When you resort to imbecilic behavior I will
always question if you are on your meds and maybe snap you out of your
abusive funk. Methinks I hit your tender spot.

Not that's the Roger we know and love. In a mild retort - isn't it time
to cease your role playing and grow up? People in glass houses....

Since when did you attend med school? I'm guessing you don't even have the
    grades for entry.

Yeah, I have lots of other tender spots too. Human right abuses, child
abuse, dissing those less fortunate whatever their condition, meat eaters,
factory farming, genetically modified food, car drivers, people who wear
green on a Thursday, etc, etc.

Having a point of view does not indicate that you *belong* to a particular
group, merely that you can empathise with their plight or position. Were I
'bipolar' I would have no issue admitting to it - like, who would care
anyway? Fact is, last drug I took was 'Becotide' (twice daily, am and pm).
Other than that, I appear to be fine. However, if it'll make you more
comfortable, I'll happily claim honorary membership of the bipolar
    community. There. That better?

Hey, the roles I play are not designed to denigrate in any meaningful sense.
They are to provoke and to amuse. It's only when they provoke the kind of
mindless [censored] you hold so dear to your heart that I get ticked off.

Playing the who me role? Cute but doesn't play well in Peoria.

    Quoted message said:

Well Rog what is the definition of provoke? Is it not "to incite to
anger" or "to stir up purposely <provoke a fight>?" It also means to
arouse a feeling or action which can be honorific. When you troll with
negative your going to get a like response. Much of your writing is
delightful, amusing, thoughtful. In either case you will elicit a
    response.

When you feel the pejorative urges, go for a run or paint your house.
