When servicing a fork (i.e. changing oil, maybe seals...) do you find it easier
to do when the fork is still on the frame, or do you remove the fork from the
frame?

(Not my strong suit.)
Changing fork oil is pretty easy to do while it's installed; not sure about

You could loosen everything while it's on the frame and make sure you have
all the tools and are comfortable with what your doing. It'll be a lot
easier to properly drain the oil if it's off. Good time to clean and grease
the headset while your there.--
