Semi OT: He did it!

  1. My buddy Rick (Garrison's dad) finished his coast to coast ride on a
    fixie to raise money and awareness for cancer research. We're throwing
    him a party tonight. This makes his sub 9 hour Leadville 100 on single
    speed seems like just another ride (for him, not me!).

    Total mileage for the Big Fix: 3,480 miles, with 135,000 feet of
    vertical gain ridden in 28 days.

    Apparently Sheldon Brown (and his wife) and a bunch of bike messengers
    from Boston rode the last stretch with them. Cool!

    That's really cool! He deserves some press for that especially because
    Lance chickened out on his annual Tour of Hope this year.
