Semi OT: App. to process *.ASF video files???

Did the unit come with software? Usually there is some type of video
editing software that can import the type created and spit it out in
another format.

How about mediacoder? http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net. I've never
transcoded ASF to MPG, but I use it all the time for wmv files.

Yes sorry, I failed to mention that it came with Muvee app., but
an OEM version that can only splice 3 files.

But like I said, I don't really want a "converter" (lots of free apps
online, and I've looked already), though that's probably what the
Muvee app. does but on the fly.

To be more precise, I'm looking for a consumer/prosumer
video editor that can process *.ASF files.
