Really? That is excellent news as I'm sure you'll enjoy it. It's a
wonderful country and the peaks are magnificent. I must have walked
hundreds of kilometres (in European fashion!) while I was there, up and
down the large hills and one mountain. Ahornbahn, Penkenbahn and Hintertux
    were my three conquests!

You will not regret it! The locals will take to you immediately, especially
if you come bearing gifts of schnapps. 80% proof is not uncommon.

TBH, it looks like somewhere in the N Devon area, around
    Lynmouth. But it probably isn't.

    Spot on, Gordon.
I spent most of last week wandering around the Dales.
Why wasn't I told earlier about this stunning place? All these years
I've dismissed it as being probably not all that good. It's a superb
    area!
