Italia Flite out of storage to out on a Dura Ace seat post and the last several rides the dang
thing slips back in the rails. Maybe rough up the rails a little so it grabs the clamp? Didn't have
this problem with my Selle Italia Turbo4 but that seat had a coating on the rails. Any ideas would
be great.
Cut a piece of coke can and shim the rails so the clamp gets a harder bite?
Loctite on the rails?
File down the faces of the clamp a bit so that the clamp gets a harder bite?
Lay a few pieces of very thin copper wire in the channels of the clamp, same effect as the Coke can
but easier to do?
Somebody else will probably have the one true answer, this is just the stuff I could think of right
off the top of my head.
