Seat mounted biddon cages

im running one, but very basic, if any1 finds a 'fancier' one other than id like to know

I mainly use the two frame mounts, but in the summer when I go for longer rides (and it is hotter and need more fluids), add on an extra two on the seat post. I still want the bag that fits under the seat, and don't have a lot of room on the seat post, so I use the Minoura system. The Minoura still allows the bag underneath the seat. I also do longish rides in the summer, but there is always access to water from public fountains/shops/bars if you plan a bit.

I go riding in an area south of Spokane, call the Palouse. Beautiful wheat county, but most of the towns don't have much in that way of support. The bar in Waverly closed last year, and there are no other stores. Park in Waverly does do watering, but I haven't been brave enough to use the water from the hoses. Just easier to bring my own fluids. Four bottles will take me on a 40+ mile ride in the summer.

A popular training ride in my area (Rockhampton-Yeppoon Central Queensland) 80klm round trip, 30 deg C, high humidity. You won't pass a house along the way let alone a fountain 🙂

Yep, Kalgoorlie would be 40+ degrees in summer, bone dry, very few surrounding water supplies, I'm guessing.

You'd be correct, 40 plus degrees celcius bone dry and just me and the desert no matter which road out of town I take. Nearest town is about 40km west only about 500 or so people living there no fountains just about nothing there. South the towns 50km, North 130km and East thers nothing really and no houses on the way to any of these towns. The only thing on the way to towns out my way are dirt roads leading to mine sites.

Aren't they known to bounce out and depth charge those following riders? I wouldn't use it if I am in a bunch.

To all the riders out there from wide brown lands....How cool would it be to be able to pull over at the Trevi, have a cool drink, maybe cruise the chics (guys)😄 . Sure beats dodging roadkill🙂

To get downtown here in Rome would mean dodging/fighting with traffic and smog on a major scale.

No thanks, take visitors there on Sunday mornings, earlyish, sans the huge crowds (medium sized crowds and no gypsy pickpockets there before 11-ish AM, for the record). 😉
