I thought I might buy a couple of wheels, and www.sdeals.com seems to offer a decent price.
Has anyone got any good or bad stories to tell me before I place an order? I'd hate to have a
'Ribble' experience.
Cheers, John

They built me a good pair of wheels a couple of years ago, and I've ordered a few items since.
I like the custom wheel website page - which offers some options that many other builders haven't
even thought of, probably, let alone offer.
Can be slow or difficult when it comes to out of stock items, so email/phone to check first before
ordering. Don't panic if no immediate reply - is a very small company.
Also consider Parker International - Low prices and good reputation.

Ah, what's wrong with Ribble? They seem to advertise good prices and there are good few things I was
thinking of ordering from them, if I get sufficiently into bike-building mood...

No personal experience, but a few stories here about sub-optimal customer service.
You'd have to do a search for details, unless anyone else can help.

Nice shop, staffed by cyclists, great to talk to, advice galore, pleasant buying experience
particularly if you get chance to handle the component and check it for faults or previous use.
Mail order/online purchases, do a check on Google Groups, some people had excellent service. Mike

I've had good service from them but no experience of their wheels. useful info tho' is the fact they
charge postage at what it costs. For a gilet it was 99p for wheels I dunno. However I suggest you
phone and have a chat; I found them very helpful about sizing and would expect them to be equally
helpful if you're not entirely sure exactly what you want for the wheel build.
