For those of you who enjoy (and who doesn't!?) dumpster diving, i would
like to point out that Febuary is the traditional clean-out time for my
LBS, which likely means it's clean-out time for yours, too.
I picked up a nice set of Magura brake levers (good for my unicycle),
some nice virgin tapered cranks (more unicycle stuff), a bunch of Kane
County and Chicago bike maps from last year, a couple of used but
servicable suspension frames (bike plow parts) and assorted other good
junk. etc.
Oh ya -- banners (Giant, Trek, Raliegh, C*nn*ndale) and a nice sample
ring of schwalbe tires (which makes good bike deco).
previous years have yielded good tail lights and nice elastic+velcro
straps, a spare bike pump and asst. cool junk.
