Done a few hundred Ks now with the Schlumpf speed drive fitted so here's
the good and bad.
Luvverly piece of engineering.
Changes gear with a kick of the ankle.
Is *perfect* for the Anthrotech, which is under geared.
Is fun demonstrating the outside goes round
faster than the inside ;-)
I now have 28 gears!
and the bad.
I tend to clip the changer sometimes. Might
adjust the cleats on my shoes a tad.
Price.
Schlumpf innovations were receptive to the idea they assemble the whole
thing and ship it intact, were friendly and responded to e-mails quickly
but aren't very proactive. I had a long wait due to getting bits from
Anthrotech and a rush of orders for Schlumpf and they didn't keep me
updated very well.
In short, perfect for the job, but hard to justify the price. If you
really need one, I have no qualms about recommending them.
Actually, what am I saying *of course* you need one...
