That's not very helpful. I run 50-60 miles a week. These shoes are a
godsend.

There's your answer Dan. It doesn't matter what other people thinks of that
shoes as long as it works for you. I'm actually considering of getting
those, I'm not very happy with my Brooks Addiction.

No. Despite the fact that most of us here in rec.running have
extensive experience with both the kick-out-the-jams MC 5 and its
predecessor, and many of us - I know *I* have, and trust that others
have as well - have spent hours meditating on the differences,
performing both double-blind A/B/X subjective wear tests and
destructive material tests (using robots!) in our basement
laboratories, and composing and reworking poignant little vignettes
which illustrate the similar-yet-different essences of these two
generations of a shoe family while also illuminating some dark corners
of modern man's psyche... despite all that, having insulted us I'm
afraid you are SOL.

When it gets down to shoes, one persons trash is anothers treasure. Be
careful of any anecdotal judgements only you the wearer really knows. I
have found shoes the 80% said sucked and loved them. I have also hated
shoes that 90% said were great.

Judging from the lack of valid responses it's likely that many have not
tried them. And yes, we do have our share of A_holes that are always
quick to be stupid and arrogant. Don't run away just ignore them.

running store where they will let you try them (and others). You might
find that your feet like the Grid Stabil, or they might like another brand
much better. Hard to say.

FWIW, I used to wear Grid Stabils a few years ago, and I was one of the
few (only) here at the time. They kept making toe box smaller so they
were too tight. My PT switched me to Brooks Trespass 2.5 yr ago since
Grid Stabils were too rigid in some areas, too little support in others.
A lot of my foot issues were resolved with that and some strengthening
exercises.

So OP shouldn't be surprised to not find and Grid Stabil users here.
